Andres Heredia / Tattoo Artist
In my work, the influence of geometric abstraction and figurative realism are present, the fusion of abstract geometry, which is a style where planes predominate. When they meet the reality of forms, a contrast with volume is produced, causing discord and chaos to converge, thus finding harmony. Diagonal lines create movement and dynamism, the plasticity of broken lines and scribbles break with the rigidity of the elements, the monochrome of red and the tonal value of black, gray, and white generates sobriety and interpretation in my composition. This integration of realistic elements with pictorial and abstract elements forms marked contrasts by breaking with the usual configuration of the figures, thus generating a style of marked distinction, conceiving each tattoo as a contemporary work of art.
